“It’s Time”, tells the story of our European forefathers introducing their concept of time to the Americas. For the First Nations People, time was simply a way of life. Reflecting that closeness to Mother Earth, sits the Frog as the base of the clock. The Raven is the storyteller who recants the legends and history of the people. The Spirit of the Seasons tells us the story of time when the Nations counted the seasons, and the moons were a method of speaking of time. Hunting and gathering the nourishment offered by the land is represented by the hand holding the fish. “It’s Time” intertwines the simplicity of one way of life with a more regimented one. The brilliant beauty of the timepieces brought carefully from Europe had their own history. Over the centuries craftsman had evolved the keeping of time to a science of numbers and mechanical movements. These clocks were lovingly created to bring order to our day to day living. Time measured by nature or a man made device is still time measured.

“It’s Time” is an original design, carved and polished by hand from butternut. Lacquer is the durable finish on the case. A top of the line Hermle cable driven chime system enables you to choose from Westminster, St. Michael’s or Whittingdon melodies and comes with an automatic night shut off.  Alternate twisted brass and stainless rods hang the ten inch embossed Lyre pendulum. The large moon dial has a brass finished back plate, raised numbers and lunar arch.
